How we check listings

Reliable information matters when you’re deciding where to apply. These are the checks YouthImpact will use as our listings service is introduced.

1. Start with original information

We favour official organisers, programme websites and authoritative calls for applications. Each listing will link to its original announcement or application page.

2. Check important details

Our review will focus on eligibility, residency or nationality restrictions, programme dates, costs and funding, application method and deadline. If a detail cannot be confirmed, it will be marked as unavailable rather than guessed.

3. Keep information up to date

We’ll record the latest check and flag expired or changed announcements. For selected accessible sources, we aim to publish qualifying new announcements within 24 hours after detection, subject to verification. Coverage, processing and review may vary; reviewed listings are now available, while automated source feed ingestion and the 24-hour publication target are still being configured.

4. Explain without exaggeration

We don’t promise selection, funding or a successful application. We won’t claim an opportunity is fully funded unless the organiser’s terms support that description.

5. Make corrections visible

When source information changes, affected listings should be updated and reviewed. If something looks wrong, please contact us.
